For an Ark that Rombachs is also designing with the clients, Rombachs has been commissioned to do the glass work for eye catch spots. The designs are made when the space is ready. The process is very organic. Decisions are made real time and only when there is enough spatial information to make a choice. A very interesting project to work on!

Panel, Family Mooiweer

A panel of roughly 300mm x 700mm, fitted with stone.

Window, Bergen NL

For a client in Bergen NL this window was designed and made. the colours are rich and powerful, the lines very rugged and searching. The widow is set in a steel frame, which has the same finish as the lead lines.
This window measures roughly 1 meter by 400 mm.

Cafe Vrijdag, Arnhem NL

Designed as 7 forms growing in complexity, the commission consisted of using two forms of the designs for stained glass windows in the toilets of Cafe Vrijdag. These two most resembled forms that could be seen as man and women.

Design and realisation of stained glass panels for the studio of architecture agency Alberts and van Huut.

Restoration Baljieux straat, Arnhem NL

These early 1900 stained glass windows were restored by Rombachs.

Gijs Verschoor, Sliding doors

Two sliding doors were restored with an artistic addition in the form of two flames incorperated into the rigid existing lines already present.

Ceiling Light, Family Kool

This lighting fixture combines two glass techniques; tiffany adn glassfusing. the LED lighting is made up of different color lights that fluctuate, creating an ever changing light and liveliness.
This project was made in collaboration with Marius Baljieux.

Doors and lamp, J Preyer Contrabass Builder

The commission for Jurgen Preyer, a contrabass builder was to remodel a garage space into a babyroom and storage. The babyroom was to have a special lighting fixture as well as glass in the door. All the doors in this house have Rombachs glass.

An addition to this project is the design and building of a water closet for the gallery of this contrabass builder, the owner. The door is made of glued glass strands and MDF board. Al the fittings for the door as well as the lighting fixture are Rombachs.
